The Historical Museum of Frankfurt am Main proposes every year a participatory project: the « Stadtlabor (urban laboratory) ». The exhibition takes place in a different neighborhood of Frankfurt each year. It mobilizes local actors to exhibit forgotten historical bits, cultural miscellaneous, local artworks… After a few workshops in Frankfurt, the architecture office Complizen proposed a modular temporary exhibition concept. Based in an old car dealership, the central place of the exhibition allowed to empower locals and make discover this part of the city to new visitors.
